2 missing boys believed to be in danger, last seen in Midland

MIDLAND, MI — Police are looking for two boys, ages 2 and 6, and issued a “missing endangered advisory,” asking for the public’s help to find them.

Theodore Zurawic, 2, and Sebastian Rodriguez, 6, are missing, according to an alert from the Michigan State Police around 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26.

The two boys were last known to be in the custody of their parents, Noel Schmidt and Nathan Rodriguez, MSP said.

Police believe the children are in danger, MSP said.

The boys were last seen on the 500 block of Crescent Drive in Midland, Michigan.

A court order has been issued ordering the children to be turned over to the custody of the Department of Health and Human Services – Children’s Protective Services. The current whereabouts of the children is unknown.

Police released photos of the two boys.

They may be travelling towards California, MSP said. They may be in a white Jeep brand vehicle.

Theodore is described as about 3 feet tall and Sebastian is about 4 feet tall, MSP said. They both have brown hair and brown eyes.

Police did not provide further details.

Anyone with information about their whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Michigan State Police Tri-City Post at 989-495-5555.
