Lily Collins has landed a new fashion gig as the star of Calvin Klein‘s new spring 2025 campaign.
In her debut for the brand, Collins teamed with Charlotte Wells who directed and produced the campaign which features a series of social videos and print shots with a spotlight on “pure sophistication and effortless elegance in sharp tailoring” for the new season, per CK. The campaign launched globally on Tuesday with content featuring Collins set to roll out on Calvin Klein’s social channels this week. Content will also appear on digital platforms and out-of-home placements around the world.
It’s a dream come true for the actress, who already has a role as the fashionista on Emily in Paris. “It was a total honor and a dream come true,” Collins said this week in an exclusive interview with Elle. “I remember cutting out Calvin Klein advertisements from magazines when I was younger and always being drawn to the brand as representing what’s classic and cool.”
The new collection focuses on “minimalism in color designed for day-to-night dressing,” says CK. It’s on display in pieces worn by Collins, as seen below, like a tech-textured vest and blazer, a viscose ribbed maxi dress, crepe printed slip dress, matte satin midi skirt and jacquard stripe popover shirt. Denim also gets a spin in the Collins spotlight with a ’90s trucker jacket and ’90s straight jean made with premium cone denim.
She also relished the opportunity of working once again with the director. “I worked with Charlotte before and had the best experience with her,” she said. “She has this amazing quality of making you feel so comfortable in your own skin, and I think that energy was incredibly important to feel while shooting this campaign.”
As for her favorite pieces, Collins listed them to Elle: “I loved the relaxed plaid wool blazer and tailored A-line mini dress. It made me feel very much like myself. I really love playing with proportions and mixing textures. This felt bold while also being understated.”
