The Motion Picture & Television Fund will once again celebrate the season with its NextGen Summer Party.
This year’s event, put on by the MPTF NextGen Board, will take place June 22 on the rooftop of The Aster in Hollywood and be hosted by Busy Philipps, with music by DJ Ray Rhodes.
The fundraiser will celebrate the Hollywood community and benefit the MPTF, which supports working and retired members of the entertainment community with a safety net of health and social services. Last year’s Summer Party raised a record-breaking $115,000, and funds raised by the 2025 event will specifically assist those in the industry impacted by the recent Los Angeles wildfires.
“At a time when so many of our friends and colleagues have been deeply impacted by the fires in Altadena and the Palisades, we are grateful for the support of our NextGen Board for bringing our community together at this year’s Summer Party to raise much-needed relief funds,” MPTF’s chief development officer Courteney Bailey said in a statement. “This next generation of leadership in the entertainment industry truly understands what it means when we say, ‘Caring is infinite.’”
The NextGen Summer Party host committee, who is expected to be in attendance, includes Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Camilla Belle, Chloe Bennet, Katy O’Brian, Yvette Nicole Brown and Anthony Davis, John Cho, Sherry Cola, Auli’i Cravalho, David Dastmalchian, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Ben Feldman, Cristo Fernandez, Lukas Gage, Ronald Gladden, Max Greenfield, Harvey Guillén, Derek and Hayley Hough, Joshua Jackson, Katie Lowes and Adam Shapiro, Xolo Maridueña, Skye P. Marshall, Rudy Pankow, Sarah Shahi, Harry Shum, Jr., Tiffany Smith, Noah Wyle and Sasheer Zamata.
The Summer Party is presented by Delta Air Lines, with additional support provided by Waymo, City National Bank, First Entertainment Credit Union and Lilac Grove Entertainment. Tickets and more information are available here.
