RIVERVIEW, MI – Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central and Riverview – both undefeated in the Huron League conference – faced off Friday night in a battle for the top spot.
Catholic Central’s Falcons, the reigning Division 6 state champions, emerged victorious, toppling Riverview at their homecoming in a 34-15 win.
The Falcons took advantage of an explosive run game in the turnover-laden contest, returning both a Pirates punt and the second half kickoff for touchdowns.
