ALL SAINTS 84, CPS 0
Bay City All Saints recovered a fumble on the opening kickoff and it snowballed from there. The Cougars scored early and often en route to an 84-0 romp past Carsonville-Port Sanilac.
All Saints (5-1, 5-0) took another step closer to the Big Thumb Conference Red crown as six different players got in the end zone.
“We were able to score from all corners of the field, and sometimes it didn’t seem to matter who was doing the work,” coach Eric Gust said. “We played flawless football and were happy to return to the game after two weeks of practice.”

Cruz Vasquez stripped the ball and recovered for a touchdown, Bo Williams returned a punt for a score and Charlie Warren took a kickoff return to the house as All Saints scored in all manners.
Jack Wetters was 4 of 4 passing for 144 yards and two TDs and rushed for a score while Williams hit paydirt twice on three carries, covering 98 yards. Warren joined Dorian McNary with a rushing touchdown while Jeffrey Hartman scored one on the ground and one through the air.
Wetters led the defense with 11 tackles and registered a safety while McNary added seven tackles and Gavyn Aikens six with a fumble recovery.
AKRON-FAIRGROVE 44, CASEVILLE 38
Akron-Fairgrove put up big numbers across the board, energizing its homecoming crowd with a 44-38 victory over Caseville.
The Vikings (3-3, 3-2) had two 100-yard rushers and one 100-yard passer in the Big Thumb Conference Red victory.
Jeff Diehl threw for 120 yards and two touchdowns, hitting Isaiah Lemon for 80 yards and a score. Jon Price rolled up 147 yards and a touchdown on the ground and Ashtyn Spencer tallied 120 yards and two scores.
Price sparked the defense with 15 tackles and three quarterback sacks.

MIO 50, WHITTEMORE-PRESCOTT 16
Whittemore-Prescott struck first, but Mio struck often, answering the opening score with 34 consecutive points in a 50-16 victory.
Brody Fox and Jamison Cooper threw touchdown passes to each other in the win. Fox finished 4 of 9 passing for 84 yards and two scores while Cooper was 2 of 2 through the air for 53 yards. Both caught one pass for one touchdown while Cooper added a 68-yard scoop-and-score on a fumble.
Gavin Knepp rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown on seven carries and added a second score by reception. Gage Spitzer and Carter Long also got in the end zone for the Thunderbolts (4-2).
Spitzer fronted the defense with 13 tackles while Knepp tallied 12 and Ashton Burden snared an interception.
Sam Vyner scored twice for Whittemore-Prescott (2-4), including the first touchdown of the game that had the Cardinals up 8-0. He finished with 163 yards on 33 carries and was 6 of 13 passing for 98 yards. Aiden Bell rushed for 122 yards on 16 carries while Christian Tocco turned four receptions into 98 yards.

AU GRES 60, POSEN 20
No. 7-ranked Au Gres put 60 points on the board by halftime, soaring to the 60-20 win in North Star League Little Dipper action.
The Wolverines (5-1, 2-0) were ignited by Cole Dewald, who carried the ball nine times and reached the end zone four times while churning out 127 yards. Tyler Zaherniak was the hot receiver, catching four passes for 133 yards and two TDs.
Carter Zeien was 10 of 12 passing for 218 yards and two scores and joined Monty Wenkel in scoring a rushing touchdown.
Random Marcum delivered seven tackles and a fumble recovery on defense while Landon Bender tallied six stops.
“We were able to work the ball around on offense,” Au Gres coach Brian Sanchez said. “The boys flew around on defense and played pretty aggressive.”
