Derrick White returned to Colorado to watch a football game and took a hit to the head as well.

Video obtained by TMZ shows the Boston Celtics guard being hit in the face as the result of an altercation during his alma mater Colorado’s matchup with rival Colorado State on Saturday.

White appears to be in a verbal confrontation with a man wearing Colorado State’s green and gold when he gets hit in the face with the back of his first.

White’s hat goes flying before he is pulled away and held back from responding.

There is no police report, and no charges are expected, according to TMZ.

White, a Colorado native, played three years at Division II Colorado-Colorado Springs before transferring to Colorado for his final year where he earned first-team All-Pac 12 honors, averaging 18.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game.

The Spurs drafted him late in the first round of the 2017 NBA draft, and he was a key part of the Celtics run to an NBA title in June and signed a four-year, $125.9 million contract extension with Boston on July 1.

He also won a gold medal playing for the U.S. at the Paris Olympics.

His Colorado Buffaloes also thoroughly dominated Colorado State in the Rocky Mountain Showdown, 28–9.
