In December 2024, Zac Posen introduced Gap’s most premium endeavor to date: GapStudio, a new line of elevated essentials designed by Posen himself. The announcement was accompanied by four holiday styles — a taste of what was to come — but the official first drop, Collection 01, is finally live.
Even before its public debut, GapStudio clothing was spotted on some of the biggest names in Hollywood. Demi Moore dressed up GapStudio’s Coated Denim Cropped Moto Jacket ($228) for the 2024 SFFILM Awards Night, while Emily Ratajkowski dressed it down with a loose pair of cargos for effortless street style. Additionally, model and actor Alton Mason sported the non-cropped version ($248) to an event in New York City.

In May 2024, Gap first released a version of the custom poplin shirtdress Posen designed for Anne Hathaway, and it sold out within hours. Due to popular demand, the birth of GapStudio called for a relaunch of the actress’s internet-breaking look. While the white colorway is no longer available, select dress sizes in khaki tan and navy blue with white polkadots are still in stock online.
