
Monday night, fans buzzed with anticipation as they formed a line spanning blocks outside the Masonic Temple in Detroit in preparation to see Djo. Excitement centered around the band’s frontman and “Stranger Things” star, Joe Keery, who not only led Djo’s performance but brought his former band—Post Animal—to join the tour as well. The tour coincides with the release of Djo’s new anticipated album The Crux.
Post Animal was joined during their opening set by former drummer and bandmate Keery, who collaborated with them to create their new album Iron. The band performed new single “Last Goodbye” along with “When I Get Home” and “Dirtpicker” alongside Keery to end their set.

Djo’s set featured a dynamic mix of new material and fan favorites that kept the crowd dancing throughout the show. Fans cheered as they sang along with the new viral hit “Basic Being Basic.”

“End of Beginning,” the band’s biggest song, received thunderous cheers that night. Keery engaged with the crowd throughout the night, bringing an excellent mix of musicality and earnest fun to the fans. Everyone was able to walk away having enjoyed a very memorable Monday night.
