Goldpine<\/a> brought a fresh Americana energy from Nashville to the humid Ann Arbor summer in their first time performing at The Ark. Touring their third album, the duo celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary that week, singing on themes of faith, community and mostly, love.<\/p>\n

Kassie and Ben Wilson of Goldpine took the stage, telling stories from their tours that led the audience into their songs. Kassie\u2019s voice joined Ben\u2019s acoustic guitar for songs like \u201cConfessions<\/a>,\u201d \u201cUnderstand<\/a>\u201d and \u201cLove Is<\/a>,\u201d filling the room with abundance. As Ben switched between an acoustic and electric guitar while hitting a suitcase, Kassie brought in the sounds of a tambourine, harmonica, soundboard and a shaker.<\/p>\n
