\n\tZouk was ground zero for Los Angeles nightlife last weekend.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe new nightclub, located at 643 N. La Cienega Blvd. in the space formerly occupied by Nightingale, toasted its long awaited arrival with a three-night opening weekend celebration that kicked off Thursday with notable names like Marc Anthony<\/a> and Zouk insiders. Zouk Los Angeles is a joint venture between Sam Nazarian\u2019s sbe and Hui Lim\u2019s Singaporean nightlife entity Zouk Group. Both were in the building on Thursday for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony and preview party that featured light bites and live performances like a traditional drum ritual.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe action continued Friday with a headlining performance by DJ Politik and guests like influencer and entrepreneur David Dobrik. Metro Boomin took the reins for Saturday night by jumping behind the decks for a 40-minute hip hop performance in front of a packed crowd. Those spotted on the scene during the weekend included the Chainsmokers, Selling Sunset<\/em> star and real estate mogul Jason Oppenheim<\/a>, Marshmello, Paul Oakenfold, Vice, Steelo Brim, Ross Naess, nightlife guru Dean May and more. <\/p>\n

\n\tZouk Group<\/a> maintains a nightclub location in Las Vegas where it opened a popular spot at Resorts World in 2021. DJs like Ti\u00ebsto, Zedd, Deadmau5, DJ Snake, RL Grime and Kaskade have all performed there. Meanwhile, sbe<\/a> has long had a footprint in the hospitality space in Los Angeles with a portfolio that includes Katsuya, Hyde, MXO by Wes Avila, Casa Dani, Citizens, Kumi Japanese Restaurant and Bar, S Bar, and others.<\/p>\n

\t\t\t\t\tThe preview bash on Thursday featured sparkling caviar servers offering up caviar and chip pairings. The menu also included a sampling of sbe\u2019s dining portfolio like miso cod bites and spicy tuna crispy rice from Katsuya, steak and tomato tartare from Casa Dani, short rib tostadas from MXO, empanadas from Manolo and Sofia Vergara\u2019s Toma, and caviar and chicken bites from Zouk. Pours included cocktails like the Jalisco Express, Midnight Affair and the Watermelon Sugar.<\/span><\/p>\n
