\n\tAmid a fiery time for members of the LGBTQ community, GLAAD<\/a> is bolstering its ranks by appointing a roster of 20 ambassadors to \u201cpromote and strengthen\u201d its work in accelerating acceptance.<\/p>\n \n\tThe inaugural class of LGBTQ creatives, leaders and allies includes comedian Atsuko Okatsuka, Queer Eye <\/em>veteran Bobby Berk<\/a>, Real Housewives of Orange County<\/em> star Braunwyn Spinner, Selling Sunset <\/em>star Chrishell Stause, media insider Don Lemon, actress Isis King, actor Jonathan Bennett, Made it Out Media\u2019s Mal Glowenke\u00a0and\u00a0Mathilde Jourdan, Real Housewives<\/em> star Meredith Marks<\/a>, Emmy winner Niecy Nash-Betts<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Jessica Betts, Real Housewives of New York<\/em> star Racquel Chevremont, former NFL player RK Russell, actor Ronen Rubinstein, media personality Ross Mathews, actress Sasheer Zamata, Pentatonix singer Scott Hoying<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Mark Hoying,\u00a0and\u00a0actress and comedian Sherry Cola<\/a>.<\/p>\n \n\tThe founding class came together by invitation from the organization as a way to activate celebrity influence on the philanthropic and advocacy front. According to GLAAD, their work as ambassadors will be specifically tailored for each individual to align their \u201cpublic platform, passions and personal brand with GLAAD\u2019s mission.\u201d The ambassadors will also be presented with opportunities to participate in GLAAD\u2019s programming and events including the GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles, Spirit Day, a youth anti-bullying campaign, and GLAAD\u2019s advocacy efforts around the Super Bowl and Pride Month.<\/p>\n
