\n\tJohn Malkovich<\/a> has a new starring role \u2014 as John Malkovich for JW Anderson.<\/p>\n \n\tThe veteran actor has been tapped as the face of the designer\u2019s new loafer bag campaign that launched today. In a series of firsts, the creative images mark the first time Malkovich has worked with Anderson and the first campaign of the new era of JW Anderson since the brand relaunched earlier this year. <\/p>\n \n\tAnderson\u2019s campaigns, whether for his namesake line or Loewe<\/a> (which he departed to take the top job at Dior), have typically featured a convergence of art, objects and fashion<\/a>, more often than not in a whimsical way. Anderson himself directed the whole affair. Malkovich clutches the luxe loafer bag and wears styles from JW Anderson\u2019s resort spring\/summer 2026 collection including knitwear pieces, Japanese-crafted denim and Chelsea boots embellished with military green strass. The creative team also included set design by Hella Keck, make-up by Phoebe Alana Brown and hair Karim Belghiran.<\/p>\n \n\tThe campaign comes on the heels of Malkovich\u2019s starring role opposite Ayo Edebiri<\/a> in Opus<\/a><\/em> and a handful of film festival premieres for Sacrifice<\/em> in Toronto and The Hand of Dante<\/em> in Venice.
