\n\tSamira Wiley and Jin Ha have joined the Broadway<\/a> cast of Proof, <\/em>opposite Ayo Edebiri <\/a>and Don Cheadle.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tThis marks the Broadway debut for Wiley, an Emmy Award winner for her role on The Handmaid\u2019s Tale <\/em>and a breakout cast member on Orange Is the New Black<\/em>. Ha has starred in Hamilton<\/em> on Broadway and in Chicago <\/em>and appears in the Apple TV+ series Pacinko<\/em>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tProof<\/em> is set for a 16-week engagement at the Booth Theatre starting March 31, 2026, ahead of an April 16 opening night. Hamilton<\/em>\u2018s Thomas Kail directs the revival of David Auburn\u2019s Pulitzer Prize-winning play which follows a daughter grieving the loss of her mathematician father, and coming to grips with his life and the mathematical proof he\u2019s left behind.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tThe original production won the Tony Award and the 2001 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. The play was also adapted into a feature film starring Gwyneth Paltrow, Anthony Hopkins and Jake Gyllenhaal. Edebiri, an Emmy Award winner for The Bear<\/em>, and Cheadle, known for Hotel Rwanda<\/em>, Steven Soderbergh\u2019s Oceans<\/em> trilogy and more, are also making their Broadway debuts in the production.<\/p>\n \n\tWiley has previously appeared on stages in London, including in her recent return to Donmar Warehouse in a production of Lynn Nottage\u2019s Intimate Apparel<\/em>. Off-Broadway she starred in the 2016 production of Daphne\u2019s Dive<\/em> at the Signature Theatre.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n \n\tHa also appeared Off-Broadway in the world premiere <\/strong>of <\/strong>Stephen Sondheim\u2019s final musical Here We Are<\/em> at The Shed and in Julie Taymor\u2019s production of David Henry Hwang\u2019s M.
