While Noteworthy Invitations focuses on working with customers to design custom stationery, Noteworthy Wants and Wonders channels its creativity through a wider variety of gifts.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In an interview with The Michigan Daily, Engineering senior Isabella Ros said when she visited the store she found the store\u2019s variety exciting.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was looking for a specific gift to give a friend that got into (medical) school,,\u201d said Ros, \u201cIt\u2019s very cozy and welcoming, and it just has all those small (gifts) you give your friends and family on special occasions.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<aside class=\"scaip scaip-1    \">\n\t\t<\/aside>\n<p>Stepping into the store, customers are greeted with seasonal merchandise covering two center tables and trendier items such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mykitsch.com\/collections\/hair-perfumes?srsltid=AfmBOorFJjY5WOSQyzglKaHngSo2BBgrVk2I3s1kWM1YxH5JH3t2XBvv\">kitsch hair perfumes<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.silkygem.com\/?srsltid=AfmBOorHCErnmDnqsNHbsJqVa4MPLgC9daiBGOFo85_XUIDt-HxkiMju\">Silky Gem crystal candies<\/a> in the aisles.<\/p>\n<p>Store manager Madeline Small told The Daily many of their items, including mini salt graters and bags shaped like storefronts, reflect the store\u2019s unique style.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf we have something classic, we want it to have a fun twist \u2014 very thoughtful and emotional,\u201d Small said. \u201cThere are constant inventory changes, and we listen to a lot of feedback..\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rowan Yordy, employee at Noteworthy Wants and Wonders, said in an interview with The Daily they have worked at the store since opening weekend and admire the selection of gifts.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think the way it\u2019s curated is very purposeful and intentional,\u201d Yordy said. \u201cThe creative director is very good at that and I think it\u2019s been a good environment.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<aside class=\"scaip scaip-2    \">\n\t\t<\/aside>\n<p>Despite their focus on offering unique items, Small also describes the stationery store as a high-end gifting experience at a range of prices.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe had a customer walk in, she walked right up to the counter and she was like, \u2018I have to do white elephant and I have $20. Spend my money,\u2019\u201d Small said. \u201cSo we went around with her, we found a bunch of different options, laid them out on the counter and she was able to choose.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Small said she appreciates how Ann Arbor locals, whom she says make up their primary customer base, support unique local businesses.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnn Arbor has such a unique downtown where we have unique shops,\u201d Small said. \u201cWe have a community that likes to shop small, and it is a destination town, so opening here just seemed like a great fit to contribute to the small business \u2014 economy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>LSA sophomore Chandler Ray has worked at Noteworthy Wants and Wonders for six weeks. Ray told The Daily the store brings something new to downtown.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"scaip scaip-3    \">\n\t\t<\/aside>\n<p>\u201cA lot of downtown shops have been here, it\u2019s hard to get a shot,\u201d Ray said, \u201c(Downtown Ann Arbor is) more than just bars and food. \u2026 A lot of my friends come down for a mix of luxury and trendy stuff.
