\n\tPatrick Ball<\/a> and Alden Ehrenreich<\/a> will make their Broadway<\/a> debuts this spring.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tBall, known for his role in The Pitt,<\/em> will star in Gina Gionfriddo\u2019s play Becky Shaw <\/em>at Second Stage\u2019s Hayes Theater<\/a>, <\/em>alongside Ehrenreich (Weapons<\/em>) and Linda Emond (Death of a Salesman, Cabaret<\/em>). The play, directed by Trip Cullman, follows a blind date between Max and Beck that spirals out of control and disrupts the lives of Max\u2019s friends Suzanna and Andrew.<\/p>\n

\n\tBecky Shaw<\/em> received its New York premiere Off-Broadway at Second Stage Theater in 2009 and was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize. This production also marks Gionfriddo\u2019s Broadway debut.<\/p>\n

\n\tBall will play Andrew and Ehrenreich will play Max. Edmond will play Susan, mother to Suzanna. Casting for the roles of Suzanna and Becky will be announced in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n

\n\tBall makes his Broadway debut after appearing as Dr. Frank Langdon in HBO\u2019s The Pitt,<\/em> which is gearing up for the release <\/a>of its second season. He recently starred in Robert O\u2019Hara\u2019s production of Hamlet,<\/em> in the titular role, at the Mark Taper Forum.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tEhrenreich most recently appeared<\/a> in Zach Cregger\u2019s feature Weapons<\/em> opposite Josh Brolin, after appearing in Cocaine Bear<\/em>, Oppenheimer<\/em> and starring in the Marvel series Ironheart<\/em>. He recently wrapped on the feature The Last Resort<\/em>, opposite Daisy Ridley.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tA three-time Tony nominee, Emond starred in Death of a Salesman <\/em>opposite Philip Seymour Hoffman, directed by Mike Nichols, in Cabaret<\/em>, directed by Sam Mendes and Life x 3 <\/em>with John Turturro, Helen Hunt, and Brent Spiner, among several other projects.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
