\n\tLike mother, like daughter \u2014 nearly 30 years apart. <\/p>\n

\n\tApple Martin stepped out Tuesday night in New York to support her famous mother, Gwyneth Paltrow<\/a>, at the premiere of her new A24 film Marty Supreme<\/a><\/em> by slipping into one of her classic looks. Martin, 21, hit the red carpet in a form-fitting black Calvin Klein<\/a> Collection dress that Paltrow first wore to the 1996 premiere of Emma<\/em>, a Jane Austen-inspired period piece from director Douglas McGrath. Paltrow, also in a black dress, welcomed both of her children, Apple and Moses Martin, to the starry screening tonight. <\/p>\n

\n\tPaltrow must\u2019ve been stoked to see her daughter wear something she had previously stepped out in as she recently gushed to The Hollywood Reporter<\/a><\/em> that Apple is \u201cso freaking cool.\u201d But it also wasn\u2019t a surprise. The pair recently teamed up for a Gap Studio campaign, and for an interview to promote the collaboration, Paltrow told Vogue<\/em> that Apple has been sifting through her vast fashion archive.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cShe pulls all kinds of stuff. She\u2019s very into all my \u201990s Calvin, of which there\u2019s a lot \u2014 and the \u201990s Prada, of which there\u2019s a lot,\u201d Paltrow told Vogue<\/a><\/em>. \u201cSometimes we just play dress up and she\u2019ll put on my Oscar dresses and stuff like that. We have fun down there.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tMartin also praised her mom\u2019s style: \u201cShe\u2019s such a badass when it comes to fashion and has just done what she wants and doesn\u2019t really care. I feel like I\u2019m finally getting to the place where I don\u2019t really care what people think. She influenced me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tMarty Supreme<\/em>, directed by Josh Safdie<\/a>, opens in New York and Los Angeles on Friday with a wide debut on Christmas Day.
