The 2026 gala will spotlight FIT and Gap Inc.\u2019s \u201cshared commitment to creative expression as a force for change in the future of fashion and global retail,\u201d per the organization. As such, the gala will carry a theme of \u201cThreads of Impact.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tDickson was named president and CEO of Gap Inc. in July 2023. In the top role, he leads the company\u2019s portfolio of brands like Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic and Athleta. Prior to Gap, Dickson served as president and CEO at Mattel, where he oversaw brands like Barbie<\/a>, Hot Wheels, and Fisher-Price. He had an executive producer credit on Greta Gerwig\u2019s billion dollar Barbie<\/em> movie. <\/p>\n
