Students began lining up to get into many Ann Arbor bars on Monday \u2014 some even camping out Sunday evening \u2014 to watch the University of Michigan men\u2019s basketball team<\/a> <\/a>play in the National Collegiate Athletic Association<\/a> National Championship<\/a> game against the University of Connecticut Monday evening. The University\u2019s team secured<\/a> a spot in the final Saturday and ultimately won<\/a> the national championship game, 69-63.\u00a0<\/p>\n Thousands of students prepared to watch the National Collegiate Athletic Association<\/a> National Championship<\/a> game after the University of Michigan men\u2019s basketball team<\/a>secured<\/a> a spot in the final. Students began lining up to get into many Ann Arbor bars on Monday, with some choosing to camp from Sunday evening until bars opened on game day.\u00a0<\/p>\n Queues extended from the entrances of Good Time Charley\u2019s<\/a> and Scorekeepers Bar and Grill<\/a>, with both announcing they will be hosting watch parties for the game. In a post<\/a> to Instagram, Good Time Charley\u2019s wrote they would allow attendees to enter the bar at 5 p.m.\u00a0<\/p>\n In an interview with The Michigan Daily, Engineering junior Nathan Clark said he began queuing at Good Time Charley\u2019s at 6 a.m. Monday before switching to the line at Cantina<\/a>. Clark said the limited amount of space available in the venue made arriving early necessary.<\/p>\n
