\n\tRosamund Pike will make her Broadway<\/a> debut this fall in Suzie Miller\u2019s Inter Alia.<\/em>\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tThe play is currently running in the West End and is set to come to Broadway\u2019s Music Box Theatre starting Nov. 10, ahead of a Dec. 1 opening. The one-woman legal drama follows Jessica Parks, a London Crown Court Judge \u201cwho is determined to change a system she knows isn\u2019t always just.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tThe play was created by BAFTA-Award-winning director Justin Martin and Olivier Award-winning writer Suzie Miller, who previously collaborated on the legal drama Prima Facie<\/em>, which ran in the West End and Broadway starring Jodie Comer.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tPike makes her Broadway debut after taking on film roles such as Amy Dunne in Gone Girl<\/em>, for which she received an Academy Award nomination, Elspeth Catton in Saltburn <\/em>and Marla Grayson in I Care A Lot<\/em>, among others.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cWhat surprises me night after night performing this play is how audience members tell me they recognize themselves on stage,\u201d Pike said. \u201cMen find themselves moved and confronted, women declare themselves seen, and parents and children tell me the story has led them to vital conversations. People recount how they laugh and cry with us, and that\u2019s all I can hope for. Suzie Miller<\/em> has an indelible way of putting women\u2019s experiences on stage in a way that touches, excites, moves and blindsides. Justin Martin\u2019s direction fuels my imagination constantly. I am thrilled and humbled to make my Broadway debut with this role, in a theater<\/a> that is beyond my wildest dreams.\u201d \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tInter Alia <\/em>premiered at the National Theatre in London, before transferring to the West End and also held a live broadcast of that production, which was made available in cinemas worldwide.
