\n\tBilly Crystal is returning to Broadway<\/a> this fall in a play inspired by the loss of his home to the California wildfires.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tThe one-man show, 860<\/em>, is written and performed by Crystal and directed by\u00a0Olivier Award-winner Scott Ellis, the interim artistic director of Roundabout Theatre Company. It is scheduled to play a limited 12-week engagement at a Shubert Theater<\/a> to be announced, with previews beginning in October.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI am thrilled to return to Broadway this fall with this challenging new show,\u201d Crystal said. \u201c860 was the address of the home we lost in the Palisades fires. We lived there for 46 years. I invite you to come inside 860 and I\u2019ll tell you all the funny and touching things that happened there, not only in my career but to our family.\u00a0 It\u2019s a joyous and heartfelt visit, about how with the love of family and friends and your inner strength, you can get through tough times.\u00a0I look forward to returning to Broadway and welcoming audiences to 860<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tCrystal was one of many to lose their homes due to the wildfires of January 2025, along with other notable names, including Eugene Levy, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Mandy Moore, Dianne Warren and more.<\/p>\n \n\tKnown for his roles in\u00a0 When Harry Met Sally<\/em>\u2026, City Slickers, Analyze This, The Princess Bride <\/em>\u00a0and more, Crystal made his Broadway debut in 2004 in his one-man show, 700 Sundays<\/em>, for which he won a Tony Award. He was last on Broadway in 2022 with the musical, Mr. Saturday Night,<\/em> based on the film he wrote.<\/p>\n
