\n\tMindy Cohn<\/a>, best known for her role as Natalie in the 1980s sitcom The Facts of Life<\/a>, <\/em>revealed Sunday that she was diagnosed with cancer for a second time.<\/p>\n \n\tOn Instagram, the actress posted a photo of her lying in a hospital bed with the caption: \u201chave been off social media for awhile \u2018 cuz i had to go kick cancer\u2019s ass.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tIn the photo, Cohn is smiling and giving a thumbs-up. In her post, she thanked the staff of Providence Saint John\u2019s Hospital, located in Santa Monica, and her \u201cphenomenal\u201d oncology surgeon, Dr. Anton Bilchik. <\/p>\n \n\tShe also thanked close friends including The Morning Show\u00a0<\/em>actress Tara Karsian and\u00a0The Rookie\u00a0<\/em>star Gregory Zarian, along with his husband, John Stewart.<\/p>\n \n\tThey \u201chave been my advocates and always on the ready to help me when it\u2019s \u2018my turn\u2019. recouping for another couple of weeks and then ready for my next adventure. onwards! F**K Cancer!\u201d she ended the post.<\/p>\n \n\tThis is the second time Cohn has battled cancer. In 2017, she revealed that she\u2019d had a five-year battle with breast cancer. <\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI kept that secret for a long time,\u201d she told\u00a0People<\/a><\/em>\u00a0at the time. \u201cI\u2019ve always been an optimist, but the cancer metastasized. It kept spreading and coming back. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop, and then it would. And then I\u2019d wait for another shoe to drop, and it would. I was frustrated and enraged. I couldn\u2019t control any of this. I couldn\u2019t fix it.\u201d<\/p>\n
