\n\tDave Coulier<\/a> has shared a health<\/a> update while addressing online users who have commented on changes to his voice and physical appearance.<\/p>\n \n\tThe Full House<\/a><\/em> star took to Instagram<\/a> on Thursday, where he told his followers that \u201cwhat you\u2019re seeing is the side effects of extensive radiation that I went through for carcinoma in my throat.\u201d <\/p>\n \n\t\u201cHi everyone, it\u2019s me, Dave, and I haven\u2019t posted in quite a while and\u00a0the last time I did some of you said that I look differently and I sound differently, and I do,\u201d he began. \u201cAnd what you\u2019re seeing is the side effects of extensive radiation that I went through for carcinoma in my throat.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tCoulier\u00a0announced he was diagnosed<\/a>\u00a0with stage 3\u00a0non-Hodgkin lymphoma in Nov. 2024, later revealing in December that he had been diagnosed with p16 squamous carcinoma at the base of his tongue. The second diagnosis arrived a year after he finished treatment for lymphoma.<\/p>\n \n\tCoulier continued, \u201cI haven\u2019t been able to eat solid food in months, and so I\u2019ve lost 45 pounds, that\u2019s what you\u2019re seeing. And it\u2019s affected my ability to speak; some of you have said that I sound differently. So you\u2019re right on with what you\u2019re seeing and what you\u2019re hearing.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tThe actor shared a positive health update, explaining he\u2019d recently had PET scans, and that the \u201cprognosis looks good for both the carcinoma in my throat and the lymphoma, so we\u2019re very pleased with all of that.\u201d <\/p>\n \n\tRoughly three months ago, Coulier appeared on Good Morning America<\/em>, where he revealed he was in remission<\/a> after undergoing surgery for tongue\u00a0cancer, following additional treatment he received for his stage 3\u00a0non-Hodgkin lymphoma<\/a>.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cIt\u2019s been a roller coaster ride for sure,\u201d he said on the television program.\u00a0\u201cI\u2019m in remission with both cancers. And what a journey this has been.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
