Charney\u2019s competitors will be No. 2 Reese Brantmeier of North Carolina, the NCAA singles champion, No. 4 Luciana Perry of Ohio State and No. 11 Katrina Scott of Tennessee.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Charney has already found success against this field this season, notching a win over <a href=\"https:\/\/www.michigandaily.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/piper-charney-takes-down-ncaa-champion-reese-brantmeier-in-final-match-of-the-season\/\">Brantmeier<\/a> and a victory against <a href=\"https:\/\/www.michigandaily.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/no-18-michigan-topples-no-5-ohio-state-4-2-for-big-ten-tournament-title\/\">Perry<\/a>, both coming in crucial moments in the season. If Charney wins two matches, she will receive a main draw wildcard, and if she wins one, she will receive a qualifying wildcard. This would be Charney\u2019s first appearance in women\u2019s singles at any Grand Slam.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"scaip scaip-1    \">\n\t\t<\/aside>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the doubles side, the No. 22 pairing of senior Lily Jones and sophomore Jessica Bernales will play their final matches as a collegiate duo, with Jones graduating and Bernales <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ParsaBombs\/status\/2057223372652839022?s=20\">set<\/a> to transfer to UCLA.
