You can listen to a rather convincing sample of AI Caine in <em>The Odyssey<\/em> audiobook trailer below.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2025\/11\/michael-caine-elevenlabs-voice-clone-1236613791\/\" target=\"_blank\">According to <em>Deadline<\/em><\/a>, the 93-year-old actor partnered with ElevenLabs last year to clone his iconic and distinctive voice. The company\u2019s investors include actor Matthew McConaughey. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t\u201c<em>The Odyssey<\/em>\u00a0is one of the greatest stories ever told,\u201d Caine said in a statement. \u201cFor nearly three millennia, its themes of perseverance, loyalty, temptation, and the enduring call of home have resonated across cultures and generations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThis new version of Homer\u2019s epic poem is a 13-hour cinematic production with a full cast of AI voices, music and sound effects. The project reportedly took just six weeks to produce. The project is being released for free via the company\u2019s ElevenReader app. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe company hopes to take advantage of interest in Christopher Nolan\u2019s <em>The Odyssey<\/em>, which is released in theaters July 17. Nolan cast the British actor in several of his blockbusters, including his <em>Dark Knight<\/em> trilogy and <em>Inception<\/em>. \u201cBefore you see the film, hear the original epic,\u201d ElevenLabs declared on social media. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tElevenLabs has previously announced the company secured likeness rights deals with the estates of several deceased actors\u2014including John Wayne, Judy Garland, Stan Lee, and Laurence Olivier.
