\n\tOlivia Munn<\/a> is sharing her insecurities about shooting intimate scenes post-breast cancer treatments. <\/p>\n

\n\tIn an interview with the Los Angeles Times<\/a>, <\/em>published on Friday, Munn spoke about how she felt self-conscious filming numerous sex scenes with Jon Hamm in the new show Your Friends & Neighbors<\/a> <\/em>because her cancer scars would show.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI was really nervous about doing any sex scenes because I have a lot of scars. Scars that can be seen in clothing and scars that you wouldn\u2019t know unless I was completely nude,\u201d the actress said. <\/p>\n

\n\tIn the show, which marks Hamm\u2019s grand return to TV in a leading role<\/a>, Sam (Munn) and Coop (Hamm) are in a friends-with-benefits relationship. \u201cShe wants something so much more from him than he\u2019s willing to give and their only connection is through sex,\u201d Munn said. \u201cI really wanted that to be portrayed. I wanted the sex scenes to feel like sex scenes \u2014 I wanted them to feel visceral and intense and not hold back at all.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tBut being naked on-screen was vulnerable for Munn. \u201cI did feel insecure, but each time I did it, I felt better,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n

\n\tIn March 2024, Munn revealed she had been battling<\/a> with Stage 1 breast cancer over the past 10 months. Following the diagnosis, she\u2019s undergone a double mastectomy, lymph node dissection, reconstructive surgery and a hysterectomy. <\/p>\n

\n\tReflecting on those experiences now, Munn said, \u201cGoing through a year of battling cancer and five surgeries, the goal is not to be known as a sick person. The goal is to get to the other side and be back to normal.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
