MSP: No bomb found after Hastings Walmart evacuated



RUTLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — The Hastings-area Walmart was temporarily evacuated Thursday after a threat to the store, troopers say.

Michigan State Police said an unknown person called the Walmart and made a bomb threat.

The store was evacuated, MSP said Thursday afternoon.

Bomb dogs were also called in, according to MSP.

Around 4:30 p.m., MSP announced the scene was clear and no bombs were found. Troopers are working to investigate and find the person who made the threat.
