MUSKEGON, MI – The Muskegon City Commission recently passed on first reading a new short-term rental ordinance that caps how many units can exist in the city and other new rules.

For example, the planning commission recommended the ordinance not allow for transferability of short-term rental licenses upon sale, but the commission voted to allow it one time in the proposed updated ordinance.
