It was a rough Week 2 at Michigan when it comes to football.
No, we’re not referring to the Wolverines’ 31-12 drubbing at the hands of No. 2 Texas, their first regular-season loss since 2021. Rather, we’re talking about The Michigan Daily football beat’s combined 17-23 record picking games last week. Highlights included all four beat writers incorrectly picking Iowa and some combination of three of us picking NC State, Georgia Tech, Michigan and Kansas.
Still, Charlie managed a winning record last week, becoming the only beat member to do that in both of the first two weeks of the season. So this week, we’re once again picking the biggest games against the spread — but it might be in your best interest to listen to Charlie’s picks:
