Ok, so we might not have gotten every bet right last week, but we were right about one thing: Charlie is here to stake his claim for glory. He led the pack with a 7-3 record in the season opener, setting the tone for what’s sure to be an undefeated season the rest of the way.

The other three of us did not do quite as hot. Michigan didn’t go for two after junior tight end Colston Loveland scored, making sure they missed covering the spread by one point. Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel threw for 380 yards, but the Ducks still scored just 24 points against FCS Idaho. Also, not naming names, some of us didn’t realize that we were picking against the spread. That probably didn’t help either.

So, as you can see, we present great advice here. Here’s our expert picks on the biggest games of Week 2 (against the spread):

September 7, Noon, No. 3 Texas (-7.5) at No. 10 Michigan

September 7, Noon, Arkansas at No. 16 Oklahoma State (-7.5)

September 7, Noon, No. 17 Kansas State (-9) at Tulane

September 7, Noon, No. 23 Georgia Tech (-3) at Syracuse

September 7, 3:30 p.m., Iowa State at No. 21 Iowa (-3)

September 7, 3:30 p.m., Michigan State at Maryland (-9.5)

September 7, 7:00 p.m., No. 19 Kansas (-4.5) at Illinois

September 7, 7:30 p.m., No. 14 Tennessee (-10) vs No. 24 NC State

September 7, 10:00 p.m, Boise State at Oregon (-21.5)
