Threat of Harm: Former Marketer of Musician Ohemaa Mercy Discharged After Out of Court Settlement | General News

Kwaku Osei Korankye Aseidu popularly known as KOKA, a former marketer for gosple musician Ohemaa Mercy who was arraigned before court for alledgedly threatening the musician has been acquitted and discharged.

KOKA was arraigned before an Accra circuit court for allegedly issuing threats to the “Ote me mu” hit maker to demand an amount of Eight Thousand Five Hundred Cedis. (GHC 8,500.00) for previous works done or face his wrath after Ohemaa Mercy failed to include him in some recent jobs.

However, when the two parties appeared before the court on September 26, they informed the court that, there were attempts for settlement.

They pleaded with the court to grant him bail to allow discussions to progress before the next adjourned date which was today, October 23.

When the case was called today, both Prosecution and Defence lawyers ìnfomed the court that, the parties have resolved the matter as the court was informed on September 26.

Lawyer Norman Williams, counsel for KOKA also informed the court that, as part of the agreement, some Facebook posts that were made by KOKA have been deleted including an apology.
