A report was issued from the National Weather Service on Thursday at 3:51 a.m. EDT for dense fog until 6:30 a.m. EDT for St. Joseph and Branch counties.
“Clear skies, cold temperatures and light winds have allowed patchy dense fog to form over northern Indiana. Visibilities may drop to a quarter of a mile or less. If you are traveling early this morning, slow down, use your low beam headlights and allow extra time to reach your destination. Watch out for children waiting for the school bus. Conditions should improve by 9 a.m.,” states the weather service.
