NBC is joining the fall lineup of medical dramas with its new series “Brilliant Minds.” The series stars a gifted neurologist with a rare condition that makes his approach unconventional. Tune in for the series premiere on Monday, Sept. 23, at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.

About the show:

Brilliant Minds” takes viewers to Bronx General Hospital, where Dr. Oliver Wolf leads a team of bright, young interns tackling some of the world’s rarest and most puzzling psychological cases. Wolf himself is an eccentric character who is an incredibly gifted neurologist, but he suffers from a rare condition that gives him a unique perspective on care. He wants to change the way the world sees his patients. In the past, his unusual methods got him dismissed.

With the help of the interns at his new gig, he will continue his unconventional approach while challenging his own personal and social limitations.

In tonight’s pilot episode, Dr. Oliver Wolf reluctantly accepts a job at Bronx General Hospital. There, he’s forced to work with a team of interns as they treat a mother who can no longer recognize her children.
