Dozens of brews, music, yard games planned for festival with small-town tailgate atmosphere

CADILLAC, MI – A small-town tailgate atmosphere will be the backdrop for a festival celebrating Michigan craft brews this weekend.

The Cadillac Craft Beer Festival is scheduled for 3-9 p.m. Saturday, at Cadillac Commons in Cadillac.

Enjoy dozens of brews, including beer, mead, cider and spirits, while overlooking Lake Cadillac. The event also includes live music, food and retail vendors, and yard games.

Beverage vendors include Four Leaf Brewing, Short’s Brewing, Bier Distillery & Brewery, Arbor Brewing Company, Great Mead Hall & Brewing Company, Cheboygan Brewing Co., Brew Detroit, Bowright Whiskey Company, Reed City Brewing Company, Snowbelt Brewing Co., Ludington Bay Brewing Co., Hopside Brewery, Grand Traverse Distillery, North Peak Brewing Company and Chunky Bear Coffee Roasters.

Here’s the music line up:

  • 3:30-5 p.m.: Raylin Vance  
  • 5:30-7 p.m.: Jesse Ray and the Carolina Catfish 
  • 7:30-9 p.m.: The Insiders: A Tribute to Tom Petty 

Ahead of the festival, compete in a cornhole tournament or run the new Cadillac Craft Beer Hustle 5K.

VIP Beer Geek early entry tickets are $70 pre-sale or $80 at the gate. That includes 10 tasting tickets, early entry at 2 p.m. and a shirt.

General admission entry is $35 pre-sale or $40 at the gate, which includes five tasting tickets. Designated driver tickets are $10 at the gate; non-alcoholic options include coffee, pop, beer and cocktails, and free water.
