Ashley Park has formally joined the house of Dior.
The Emily in Paris star has been named a Dior ambassador for fashion and beauty. The partnership comes after the 33-year-old has attended several Dior fashion shows in Paris and stepped out on red carpets in Dior ensembles.
The Tony and Grammy nominated multi-hyphenate is best known for playing Mindy Chen on Netflix’s wildly popular Emily in Paris opposite Lily Collins. Her other recent screen credits include Girls5Eva, Mean Girls, Only Murders in the Building, Beef, Joy Ride and Tales of the City. She originated the role of Gretchen Wieners on Broadway in Mean Girls and snagged a Tony nom for best actress in a featured role in a musical. She next stars in A Tree Fell in the Woods.
In an interview with W, Park described her red carpet style strategy as often boiling down to how she feels and what story she’s trying to tell. “These days, when I’m choosing a look for an event, I think, ‘How do I own this outfit?’ When I feel confident and comfortable on the inside, it’s obvious from the outside. So it just depends on what story or what part of my self-expression I’m trying to show off that day.”
Park joins a roster of Dior ambassadors that includes Charlize Theron, Natalie Portman, Alexandra Daddario, Rachel Zegler, Anna Sawai, Anya Taylor-Joy and Jenna Ortega, among others.
