Natalie Portman Pregnant With Third Child

Date:

Natalie Portman announced that she’s pregnant with her third child.

Exclusively sharing the news with Harper’s Bazaar, the actress said she feels “very grateful,” and that’s “such a privilege and a miracle.” She is expecting a child with her partner, French music producer Tanguy Destable.

“Tanguy and I are very excited,” she told the publication.

The 44-year-old further said, “I grew up hearing about how hard it is to get pregnant. I have so many people I love who’ve had such a hard time with it that I want to be respectful around that as well. It’s such a beautiful, joyous thing, and it’s also not an easy thing. And so I know how lucky it is. I’m very aware, and I’m very grateful. I have deep appreciation and gratitude.”

Portman shares two children from her previous marriage to choreographer Benjamin Millepied.

For her third pregnancy, Portman shared that physically, she has “more energy” than she originally thought she would and dedicates time to swimming and doing Gyrotonics to “keep strong.”

Staying based in Paris, Portman quipped, “In France, they consider full-term to be 41 weeks rather than 40, so I guess I get an extra week to be pregnant this time around.”

According to the publication, Portman is spending time focusing on her pregnancy after completing two upcoming projects with her production company, MountainA.

Portman will star as a high-strung art dealer in the absurdist comedy The Gallerist, releasing later this year. She will also star in Netflix’s romantic comedy written and directed by Lena Dunham, Good Sex, which will come out in early 2027. Mark Ruffalo, Meg Ryan, and Rashida Jones also star.
