The Buffalo Wild Wings located at 205 S State St. officially closed its doors Sunday, after over 20 years of servicing the Ann Arbor community. The restaurant was owned by JK&T Wings, the largest Buffalo Wild Wings franchisee in the U.S., operating across eight states.
In an email to The Michigan Daily, Jean Lanfear, vice president of human resources at JK&T, recognized the dedication which went into operating the restaurant since 2004.
“We are deeply grateful to the Ann Arbor community, our property partner, and—most importantly—our amazing team members, past and present, who made this restaurant a special part of the city for over two decades,” Lanfear wrote. “Serving students and the greater Ann Arbor community has truly been an honor.”
Lanfear declined to share the reason for closure. Ann Arbor’s other Buffalo Wild Wings location, at 3150 Boardwalk Dr., will remain open.
