Sutton Foster Hosting Canyon Ranch Retreat With Hugh Jackman Excursion

Sutton Foster has been a star of stage and screen for quite some time, but she’s recently added a new category to her résumé: retreat leader.

This August, the Tony Award-winning talent will once again post up at a Canyon Ranch location to lead a wellness experience called Leading Women: A Sutton Foster Retreat. Set to take place at Canyon Ranch in Lenox, Massachusetts, from Aug. 10-13, the event is being promoted as a “once-in-a-lifetime wellness retreat blending movement, mindfulness and self-expression” in the Berkshires while spending quality time with Foster as the guests — a group limited to 25 — “learn how to become the leading lady in your life.”

Foster is a longtime Canyon Ranch guest and aficionado who has been checking in for a couple of decades. A Travel & Leisure writer attended Foster’s March session, and the actress and singer told the publication, “It’s been my go-to place to rest, restart, feel nurtured, centered, realigned and inspired as my work requires so much output of energy. I love doing the morning hikes with outdoor sports and getting spa treatments in the evening. I often go solo.”

But not always. Foster’s beau, fellow performer Hugh Jackman, made some cameo appearances at the March retreat and he’ll have a starring role in the one scheduled for August. As part of the retreat, guests will take an excursion to Tanglewood to experience Jackman performing with the Boston Pops (including tickets, transportation and a packed picnic). The wellness experience will also feature fitness group The Limit and workshops and experiences with Desi Valentine “designed to release perfectionism and reignite your inner light.”

Foster’s Canyon Ranch collaboration starts at $2,300 per night and is an all-inclusive stay that also includes a $200 nightly service allowance, evening social activities (like the concert), daily movement and creative expression activities, and exclusive gifting. Foster isn’t the only notable name to lead a retreat for Canyon Ranch. Also this year, Maria Menounos will be hosting a Heal experience in October.
