Fresh off unprecedented pre-order numbers and its silver screen debut, Samsung‘s buzzy new device, the Galaxy Z Fold8, has secured a limited-time price drop. Through Sept. 27, Samsung is offering either $800 off the ultra-thin foldable device with eligible trade-in, or $250 off — no trade-in required.
For a little background, the Galaxy Z series’ new entries, Samsung’s most advanced foldables ever, have been available for pre-order since July 22 with an official Aug. 7 release date. Featured heavily throughout Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the latest device launch has now officially claimed the title of “Highest Ever Pre-Order,” according to Samsung.
The Galaxy Z Fold8, Samsung’s lightest-ever foldable, typically starts at $1,899.99 for the 258GB device; however, when the current promotion is accounted for, the price drops to either $1,099.99 with trade-in or $1,649.99 without trade-in. From there, the 512GB device typically retails for $2,099.99 (now $1299.99 or $1,849.99) and the 1TB device rings up at $2,499.99 (currently $1,699.99 or $2,249.99).
As for aesthetics, the new foldable comes in four colorways: lavender, cream, graphite and pistachio, the last of which is exclusive to Samsung.com and Samsung Experience Stores.
On top of the price drop, a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 purchase will also include a variety of money-saving offers: six free months of Google AI Pro ($119.94 value), three free months of Amazon Music Unlimited (a $38.97 value for non-Prime members and a $35.97 value for Prime members), up to six free months of SiriusXM ($59.94 value), up to two months of Adobe Lightroom Premium Access ($19.98 value), a 30-day free trial of Samsung Health powered by iFIT ($9.99 value), up to a 30-day trial of ArcSite with all premium features ($38 value), plus 50 percent off a 30-day subscription of Storyblocks for LumaFusion ($24.99 value).
